Question regarding A2Z Corp...

Bill, I have an A2Z I bought from LMS several years ago and hasn't been used in a long time. If you would like to have it I will start looking for it--we moved a few years ago and some stuff still hasn't been unpacked and put up (don't want get in hurry ). Actually I have seen it here so just have to find it again.
John...
Thanks for the offer but, Cadillac STS pointed me to Amazon and I ordered a set from them. If for some reason or another it doesn't work out I will be getting ahold of you. Thanks again... Bill W.

Doesn't Little Machine Shop still sell those?

Mark... I checked LMS and I did find tool holders for just about everything EXCEPT A2Z...??? As noted above Cadillac STS pointed me toward Amazon. Ordered the whole enchilada from them, (thirty some dollars) and I'm getting 4 holders and a tool post. Thanks anyway.... Bill

You might be able to use the second tool post with it mounted on the back side of the cross slide holding a cut off tool. That way you can do what you need to with the front tool post and the rear is already there for cutoff. Setup would determine if there is room. Most people do the rear cut off with a stationary mount but if you have the extra QCTP why not use it?

EDIT: Thinking it over about the cutoff tool. The rear tool on larger lathes is usually a tall stationary post tall enough to mount your cut off tool upside down to cut off the stock. Tool set even with center upside down, rotation same as usual (Not backward) and chips fall away and out of the cut (Key with the rear cut off for better parting)

Second post could be used for something else there though or maybe cut off with reverse rotation.

EDIT EDIT: All that being said it would be simple to just make a riser for under the rear QCTP as needed
