I have a Bostar wedge type BXA set that I bought from CDCO, and have no complaints, used one holder as a reference to make more
of them recently..................
I have a Phase II. I took it apart recently and debured the internal parts, it works a lot smoother. I have a Aloris on my smaller lathe (it came with it) and it's probably a bit better, but for the money, the Phase II is the ticket. Can't speak to repeatability, as I havn't checked either one.
I have a BXA wedge style from CDCO and have had no complaints. Have around 60 BXA tool holders from CDCO also, have not had a problem with soft set screws.
