Pm1236 Carriage lock questions.

I guess that I will have to wait for the machine to arrive before ordering that handle... From the photo posted on the PM site, looks like the DRO takes a lot of space to be able to get that handle installed... Unless that photo is outdated...

Yeah, that's probably a good idea. My PM1236 has some minor variances than most all the other PM1236s that I've seen. The carriage lock being one of them. My carriage lock is further to the right than others (notice the placement in comparison to the oil fill cap).

I also don't have a factory mounted DRO nor is it a unit from QMT/PM. My cross slide glass scale is a slim also. But if you go with magnetic scales then you should have no problem fitting a carriage lock handle regardless.

I forgot darkzero installed his handle. I just looked at this thread again and thought where’s mine?
