I got my PM-935TS a few months ago and have done some quality of life improvements to it & thought I would share it with the group. I'm very fond of this machine.
please enjoy.

My Precision Matthews PM-935TS vertical millI have done a few modifications to it as followsit came with a DRO, I added a VFD from automation. added an X axis power feed drive (really like this), it has a new 6" cross over KURT vise surrounded by 1/2" rubber matting bought from Rural King & cut carefully on my table saw. the Z knee lift is done either by the supplied handle or an air powered drill with special attachment bought on Ebay. I added "lift off" L handed hinges, wood shelves, L.E.D cabinet lights & quill ring light controlled by a DPDT rotary switch (with blue ring surround) mounted in the factory hole w/custom brass bezel & custom-made brass ID plaque. the shelves (2) are held in place by the notches in the ends & placed in the ribs in the inside of the cabinet area. the tach/rpm is uniquely mounted on the top of the motor shaft, I drilled approx. 1/2" depth & tapped it 10/32 & made a aluminum topper that has an 10mm flat spot mill into it to receive the small magnet for the hall effect sensor, the shoulder of the topper is the same od as the motor shaft to seat true, the hall effect sensor it simply mounted in the spacing of the punched out vent holes, I had to enlarge the middle motor top cap hole a little to accept the topper. all the accessories are powered on/off by tapping a floor mounted switch. it sits on 2 2"x6" steel beams w/ 4 Holkie Leveling Casters (good for 3300bs) I use an air powered drill for big raise & lowering events. of the Z lift with a special adapter.leveling casters. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CRVGZ22Z?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsVFD - automationdirect model GS13N-27P5 cabinet led lightshttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BHT2QGZ7?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsrotary switchhttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B9KYBNS2?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsQuill ring led light (pkg 2)https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078SQCD5D?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsdigital led tachhttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B63S2TSN?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailslift off hinges "left" buy 2 pairshttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B09WQVHN22?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsblk plastic project box for tachhttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B08N6P4HPH?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsthumb operated cam lockhttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BHHF9FPH?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details3/4" nickel plated acorn nutshttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CBLTCMP7?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailspower Z feed adapter for drillhttps://www.ebay.com/itm/176118545344

handwheel conversion.
PM-935TS/TV Milling Machine "Handwheel" replacement HI folks, after watching James (Clough42) video where he put a handwheel on his V-mill I knew I wanted one as well. it took a bit of lathe work to bring a large piece of aluminum down to the results you see in the video. the hub-to-hub bolts are M6-1.0 & the main bolt (holding the handwheel on) is 5/6"x18 tpi w/a 1/8" thick washer. the handwheel is 12 3/4" across & has 5 evenly spaced spokes. the handwheel is a bit out of true I noticed when using rapid return from all the way down but that's probably to be expected from a ring ,5 spokes & a hub setup & doesn't bother me. here is the link for the "Marine steering wheel" below, I paid $40 for it.https://www.temu.com/13--foam---for--accessories--steel-------g-601099548763097.html
