Just found another SMF backup at work with a HUGE amount of attachments including some of George's stuff. :thumbsup:

Thank goodness I don't delete things. I will be loading these onto the mock SMF site and then trying to get them back onto here.

The jack plane and hammers still remain here. I can't recall what other things I posted that were articles.

Charley,I was criticized by a guy on another forum for asking people to leave responses! After 300+ views and NO responses on that (woodworking site),you do begin to wonder if it's worth the trouble to post things. Then,on another machining site,I got the band of jealous a$$holes who always managed to find something negative to say,or to try to prove that they knew more than I did. For example, post a knife and one jerk goes into a long blowhard session about what he knows about steel,mostly Googled. Then,he puts up a very sloppily ground Japanese sword blade with a phony hamen(his blade was NOT laminated). The guy knows nothing about sculpture. At least those things don't happen here. I don't know why the owners of those sites let that crap go on. It just denigrates their sites. From what I heard,one site is not given the rating it would have had if the squabbling wasn't allowed to go on.

I can post projects, but they are mostly welding, not much of the really custom work. Abom and the fire pit tools was really sweet. Some of the small engine machining from scratch is unreal. Part of this group has more talent and patience than I could muster on any given day. More inclined to look/ gawk.

George, in this database, I think I only found a couple of your things. There were over 500 photos, which I will put in an album on here.

Please repost the pistol. I will check for other databases I might have. Thank goodness things have stabilized, and this new web host is very reliable.

That is some awsome work your doing.
Buy all means post up pics of your projects, Im sure others would love to see them. Pics of what others have built are allways wellcome here.
 
Thank you,Nelson. I 'll have to get back to posting my pictures.But,my photography is so bad,I really need to make better pictures of those things I still have. Most of my things were made and sold,so all I have left are not-so-good slides I took years ago. Unfortunately,I just never got interested in photography,which I now regret.
