Please help me get started with basic tooling

this is something to think about, on some of your bearing i used bronze oillite material to make some for my sheldon, the leadscrew the compound and the electric motor even has bronze bearings now and they work great for me. just a thought danny ps i even made a plug for my old 755a savage semi shotgun. lol

I promise to take some good photos.
Im thinking about painting the 1932 Junior black, instead of the SB grey, and baking the painted parts.
i have baked black painted parts before and they turn out looking like porcelain. The polished metal really has a nice contrast with the black color.

Did you take some photos?
That sounds like a good bearing. Some machinists are recommending aluminum bronze, as well.
