Phase Converter

Worth reviewing, basically a static converter that you are adding a 3 phase motor to generate the 3rd leg voltage when the motor is running. Wild voltage imbalances that will cause heating of the motor and often dropout of any attached control circuity attached hot he wild leg. They also specify a breaker 2X the motor rating and I would expect that it also can play havoc with the motor overload relay. At the price of these things, people would be much better off with a VFD or an RPC. According to the video it would appear that L1 and L3 out of the DPC are the pass through phases, L2 shows no voltage unless the motor is running. There will also be significant power loss due to the static converter design.
