I can't seem to look anything up online. No matter how I say or phrase it, what I want doesn't come up. The suppliers really need to hire Google to set up their search engines. Just did thread gauges. Want a real high dollar 51 leaf pitch gauge to cover some odd stuff not in the smaller sets. Finally gave up and looked in the KBC catalog. One minute and then checked the price online. I will say McMasters is better then the other suppliers The other thing is if I ask for something and they include weird stuff. Just went to Lowe's to check on fire brick. They added a 2" x 48" pressure board. What the H--L a has that got to do with firebrick?

Similar issue. I think they deliberately mess up search with random stuff. They think of it as marketing. I think of it as a waste of time and effort and hugely annoying. Don't mind if a place doesn't have what I'm looking for, but really get perturbed when they waste my time (without my permission). Classic time waster and deliberate random baloney inserter: Amazon.

I would add that you don't really need an up to date catalog from McMaster, an older one is good enough for most any needs, especially for hobby use, mine is likely over 25 years old.
