Non-level lathe bed?

Looks like a parallax problem to me. What I find interesting is the Ford oval on the door of the Atlas lathe.

I was wondering about that. Did someone who liked Fords put it there? I think a factory would do an asset tag or 'property of' mark. In the photo it doesn't look as beat-up as a lot of commercial tools.
If I see it I may be able to tell more.
