Nogaflex Indicator Holders

I'm looking at that Noga NF1022. Maybe it's the el cheapo spindle clamp indicator holder I got when I first bought an LMS mini-mill, but a shaft mounted rig looks more stable. My clamp unit seems to shift a bit too often.

I have a couple of the lower-end “Indicol-style” holders which clamp OK, but they take up a lot of real estate (and Z). My go-to are what Stefan calls jig borer style holders:
