NEEDING QCTP BUT

Been looking at fleabay for a 7X14 QCTP set and see many that come with a knurling tool that sez its also a tool holder, which I kinda dont get ?? anyway what Im looking for is a QCTP setup with everything except the knurl tool cuzz I already have a scissors type....maybe someone here has some ideas....

Here you go. They also sell on eBay. I've been happy with the quality of the toolholders All Industrial sells.

you mean thats a push type knurling tool????? no thanx thatll kill your bearings etc!!!! I knew thier was something fishy about those, even if it was close to the chuck, sorry guys no dice

@John O I do the same. Push type knurlers only work on large lahtes. My 15" can do it. My 14" is a bit dodgy. My 12" is a no-go for bump knurling.

I don’t know if this knurler would be too big for your 7x, but works beautifully on my 9x20. No pressure on the bearings and is a good project with free plans on Tom’s Techniques website.

finally broke down and bought some on fleabay, got 7 diffrent type tools for $140 shipped, 2 were free.......cant complain......
