Lots of good gusses guys, It is for an ACME threading machine! There are four dies which can be clamped into the fixture and dressed up a bit, then the deburring wheel finishes the threading ends so they will not (rip) the cut threads. Used two of them during my apprenticeship at Black Clawson in Everett Washington, one on the floor, and the other in the toolroom.
