Fantastic Tony!

It looks almost exactly like my Famco bandsaw. Same exact legs, band tightener, work support. Mine doesn't have the frame around the work area. I posted a thread about it last year sometime... It's a fantastic, quiet saw!

The Famco is a rebadged version of a Marvel. Hopefully that will lead you down the right road for info.

Nice score! That looks like a great saw. I have a ubiquitous 4 x 6" (older model like yours), and have been watching for a better machine too. If you're patient and keep an eye out, there are some good ones to be had. Great find!

I think I have identified the saw, if this ebay post is accurate, and since the name is on the covers on this example, I believe it is.

It is a Kalamazoo 8 x 16. No model number yet, but still working on it. Mine may have a couple of modifications, but looks to be the same saw.
