My shaper pics

I like the colors on those shapers. Ya, you can spare one can't you! Maybe I should try and buy one from you! :roflmao:

(said the guy with two Atlas shapers and one shape rite!)

nice pics i have a delta dont know much about it. like to find out what year it is

I do have one question for you. Can you make a simple adjustment and rotate the whole table both right and left? I was just curious as my machine is like that. My machine is about a twin for your machine. Those machines are heavy muthers!

Mine doesn't have the capability to rotate the table. I could see where that could be a useful feature. You're right about heavy --- about 750 lbs. Henry

Huh, the orange one, thats the fourth one I see that has a square switch box, I though I had the only
one.

I recently bought a shape-rite that looks almost like the one in woodcutter's pics, except the base is a casting and this one looks fabricated (?). I'm missing the table support parts and the motor/pulley/brackets. I don't seen any problem in improvising these pieces, but if anybody has pics or sketches of them I would like to see them--I've never seen these parts in the flesh.

have you looked at the shape-rite thread that ORJO just refinished his shaper-----take some pictures of yours----Dave

Pics will be forthcoming soon. Question: The little wick oilers on the ram ways seem to have pipe cleaners as wicks. Is this the proper material for these? If not, what should I use?

Thanks.

Alan

Am shur someone better informed will answer but I wouldent think a pipe cleaner would ( wick ) oil very well.
It is probably compressed wool.

I tried pipe cleaners as oiler wicks and they seem to work fine.
