My "new" vertical band saw

I only have just under 4 acres but 3 1/2 are grass (AKA lawn) which takes away from shop time. My vermin are woodchucks. I family of them burrowed next to a support pole in my pole shed which sunk 6". Do snakes do that ?

So far them woodchucks have cost me about $100.00 in turkey wire and a lot of labor digging down a foot or so. Without this precaution the garden is only a supermarket for them. Wife won't let me shoot em. Their coming from a abandoned foreclosed house across the road,9 of them I'm told.
I wonder how they taste?
