My new book

I'm thinking I'll be on the lookout for a newer version. Something mid-nineties or so just to compare. Whatever would be in them from 1949 to 1999 would definitely cover anything I need at home.
 
I took my 1988 copy on holiday as my only reading book, it's worth looking through in detail as there's information on topics you might not expect, spring winding from music wire was a very useful section I didn't expect to find in there.
