The 16" Southbend is a lot more heavy duty. It has bronze spindle Bearings. The Rockwell 10" has Timken bearings. 10" lighter duty. 800 pounds. That 16 is around 2000 lbs. both have taper attachments. 16" takes 5c collets and Jacob flex collets. The 10" only has 4c collets.
