Mounting a cam-lock chuck

On a side related note, I ordered the cams for my D1-6 from Shars, and all was good. Until I tried to thread them in. Even though they were the same exact diameter, they were Metric threaded, not Imperial. Didn't fit my backplate. I was recued by a forum member here, that had the Imperial studs, and traded me for my Metric ones. problem solved. everyone benefited.

Here’s a pic of the back of the chuck. I experimented with each cam in each location and found the right combina where all camlocks are between the two pointers. I did not imagine that they would be that location specific, but I guess that’s why I’m hanging out in the beginners forum. Thanks guys!
