Quick question on milling. I was going thru the link provided with tables and came across this about HSS end mills.

it was mentioned that HSS end mills are for milling non-ferrous and aluminum, but can't HSS end mills also mill steel?

Yes they do. Just fine. That write up is for their A337 line of tools. They have a higher spiral and different clearance angles. Optimized for non-ferrous materials.

thanks! just wanted to be sure before I order some more from Enco as mine got dull! Still learning though and some folks pointed out on another thread why they might have gotten dull.
