messy garages, spring cleaning

Wow - funny this came up, as I've spent the last few days trying to clean up and make some sense out of my basement workshop area, since I put the lathe out in the garage and do most of my work out there now. These pics show the garage area after sweeping it out this morning. Looks OK for now. The basement is another story. Stuff stacked and piled all over, and no rhyme or reason for placement of anything at the moment. I hope to get that rectified soon.

Oh, BTW, I'll soon have an identical band saw in the garage shop - the color is what sold me on it!! Should be delivered next week!

Now for the important stuff ? Top left pic is from garage area, the rest is just the mess........

My spring cleaning was already done! I returned the snowblower back to the storage shed and removed the next trip to the dump debris. I am ready for summer to show up, maybe this week I hope. Damn the allergies and let the home projects begin.

woohoo dig that color:whistle:mac

You guys are killing me. I have been trying to get the dozer running so I can just push through my shop and just be able to see the floor. I know it is rough concrete because I poured it, but I havent seen it in a few years so I am not sure if the concrete eating termites have gobbled it up or not. Y'all are just gonne keep rubbing in the need for cleanliness next to shopliness till I do something. aren't you? Oh well, I guess I will just have to wade in and get started. If I find the concrete below all the other stuff I will take a pic for posterity and memory sake since I probably wont live long enough to see it again. Have fun and get busy!!!

watch out for them termites lol:lmao:mac

I agree with all of that. Went out to the shop determined to clean out and haul away a bunch of stuff. Looked everything over, started hyperventilating, got light-headed, went into some sort of withdrawal, had to sit down. I CAN'T THROW ANYTHING AWAY!!! BTW, I didn't know shops had floors.:))
