Mechanics tools ? Wrenches , Sockets and Ratchets , whatever else .

I know I have multiple ratchets that I have never really used. I bought each because of some cool feature(s) (tool porn) but they were too pretty/cool to make it to the actual working tool box(s). I guess that (and many other things) makes me a tool junkie. @darkzero, that is not a personal challenge. I surrender. You win. I still remember the picture you posted of your LED flashlight bench.

Not sure if I have one of them Will , so I'll be on the lookout ! My goal for this summer is to get one big Vidmar empty and gone to gain space . Been saying this for years but really have to just do it .

Is that an adjustable nut rounder WITH the hammer function built right in?

Yep, apparenty it's a miner's wrench used in the mining industry which I know absolutely nothing about.

In case you weren't aware, I call it a "genuine" because it's the same exact wrench that the crazy Canadian YT'r shows. He calls it a "thumb detecting (hammer) nut f'er (adjustable wrench). I had to have one even though I'll probably never use it. At the time it took me a while to find someone that I could buy it from, much easier now.

Lol, not a competition! Plenty of people here & elsewhere have way more tools than me. I don't want to name any names but like the guy who started this thread! ;)

But yes, I'm a tool junkie also, all types of tools. Well we all are tool junkies! But it's not a problem as long as you accept/know you are one!

I have an eclectic collection of socket wrenches. My oldest set is SK Wayne. I also have a fairly completed Craftsman set from the seventies. Later acquisitions include 1/4, 3/8. and 1/2" sets in SAE and metric by Crescent and more recently, sockets made by Wright, Thorsen, Truecraft, and others.

My box, open end, and combination wrenches are from a mix of manufacturers as well. Most recently, I have bought house brands to replace lost or missing wrenches. To date, I have not experienced any problems with any of them. The only failures that I can recall were old Craftsman ratchets and a 13mm thin wall Craftsman socket. I did snap off a 3/4" breaker bar but I most likely had a 4 ft length of pipe on it.
