While not in the class of a full sized rifle I do enjoy building miniatures of some of the classic arms. One of these is the Mannlicher rifle. It's more in the decorative class because it's made from brass and walnut but I thought you might enjoy having a look. The idea was taken from a plastic model produced many years ago along with searching the internet for other information.

now that's just plain cool. the bolt works, even the bolt works, even better

I love miniatures. I have the passion but not the skill.

17 Mach2 would have been the perfect "miniature" caliber to have chambered it to until I saw that you made all the metal parts out of brass. I initially thought that it was gold plated steel!!! Beautiful work!!!
God Bless, Frank.

That looks amazing just wondering did you measure parts from the original rifle or did you have plans for it?

grbitnell, I am very impressed with your patience and dexterity, great project.

That really is beautiful work, theres only one word to describe it "Craftsmanship" did you keep track of how many hour you invested it the project?

Absolutely Beautiful work! Thanks for the inspiration!
