The joint between the stick and the base is made now.
The process involves a mandrel to hold the workpiece.
Drilling a hole and slitting the workpiece are simple operations once You figure out how to do it.

The base for the stand is made.
This is the final part of this project.
There is some Wohlhaupter action and some precision hole drilling.
Slitting the base has also some challenges.
