Magnets: What's a good source and how measure need?

Even if you do successfully remove the magnets, just tossing the leftover pieces in the garbage would be a no-no. And while whole microwaves are commonly recycled properly (supposedly), pieces and parts may not be. So there's that.

You could Always put the thing back together with the magnateon minus the magnets along with any other salvaged parts you might keep and by the time anyone is the wiser its already made it's way to the proper recycling station.....Lots of nice little parts to use in other tinkering projects. Parts like the turntable motor, fan and oh the Transformers can be used for all sorts of things as well and if you're lucky you can find it for free, So theres that also.
