Machining A Washer

why not just make a new one, turn to size, bore, part off

I've done that on numerous occasions. face, drill/bore, turn, cut off.

I thought about just making a new one, but figured it would be quicker to modify an existing washer. Anyway, I have a little experience with turning, boring and cut off operations, but no experience "adjusting" the dimensions of a washer like this. I'll learn something new!
