Looking to buy a Sheldon taper attachment

Adding some value to this thread, John Knox's Yahoo group for Sheldon lathe is a good resource. Found a full spec sheet for the telescopic feed screw.

I can draw up the bed clamp I have for my lathe, but remember, it's for the early R series lathes. It would be a start to making one. Just let me know.

The bed clamp is fairly easy to make. My taper attachment for my ES-46-P came without one as well.

Did you ever get your telescoping attachment working?
I found one and have it listed on e-b-ay right now.
seller name is mod_50
Can you tell me if that top cover is just a chip shield or does it actually do anything on the telescoping style?
I know it drives the saddle on the plain style taper attachment.
