Looking For A Special Fastener

olchopper, it's a jungle out there in AR, I lived on my tractor/lawnmower/weed eater/spray/
chainsaw /splitter/ It rains bout every three days there , stuff grows everywhere and it got old too.
I've lived in a few different states . This ones a trip tho

Just use a product called "Liquid Nails". You can get it at any big box store. Comes in a tube used in a caulking gun. Put it on the foam insulation and press it in place. Hold for 15 second or so and move to the next piece.

Billy G---liquid nails won't work, glue joint separate due to the heat fluctuations
Jim Dawson--gonna use the expanding foam in a can, but use it just on the 4 corners----someone reminded me that condensation will form between the metal and the insulation, this way i'll have an air space--thanks to mksj for the reminder.

RTV would be my choice, clean metal surface first. I think expanding foam won't work well it's for filling in cracks/holes not glueing

I'll just put it in the space between the studs and let it go at that, since i's rigid it should hold up OK, should last the rest of my life anyway.
Thanks for all the help and suggestiond.
