A friend lent me this, sort of a long term storage arrangement. Had to take the forks off the tractor to get it to lift it, guessing around 1400 pounds. The main base is 3/4 plate and the pads are 1 inch. Didn't measure it but guessing the top is 2 inch. Need to saw some 12 inch timbers to raise it up to a comfortable working height, then make up some T nuts and clamps.

Awesome welding table. If I put that in my garage, the floor would sink at least another inch... maybe two! Putting timbers under the base is a good idea. Enjoy!

That's a nice ''little'' table! :encourage:

Now, that's a welding table. I could not visualize a more heavier table.

Don't think I would use wood to raise it , the way my luck runs the wood will catch fire and burn the place down.but that's one nice table . Imagine two drill mills set up to run ,cnc . Guess I'd use some I beam to raise it steal kinda tuff to get a fire started in that.

A fantastic table. Finding nuts for those Tee slots could be difficult.;)
I wouldn't worry about the timber risers. It takes quite a bit to get a going fire. Hardwood would be better than pine though. Any white oak railroad ties around? Have a bucket of water around and check when you smell wood smoke. I have plenty of wood in my forge and have never had a problem.

T-nuts are easy to make. Or you can just use square head bolts.

I have used coach bolts (easier to source) and grind the heads to fit but I am VERY rough.
