oh i agree if it is stuck wd-40 it, but if you dont want it stuck oil it, and i know we may disagree on this procedure forever lol but one day you will pull the hammer out of the box not me lol, experience tells me to do it the way i have, your experience tells you your way, the books say both ways [assembly lube]older books, nothing new books, but i understand to each his own:biggrin:mac

i'm going to emery cloth tapered crankshaft end.

will flywheel run true after that?

as long as you dont use 40 grit emery cloth[joke] a scotch bright pad like you do pots and pans will work also, are you going to mod this engine:biggrin:Mac
