Knees

I'm in my mid 50s. No one sent me the memo. I starined my knee last year by repeatedly sitting cross legged the wrong way. One knee was affected. This must have gone on for months before it became a problem. Then I stepped off a bus the wrong way (didn't realize it at the time), and practically sprinted home 3/4 of a mile (well not really). At almost 2am. After an 18 hour day running around. And now I drive a car that's too small for me (I will alter the thing before long).

So. My knee is always achey some 9 months after being house bound for a week. I could swear I'm aggravating it the most in my sleep. What to do? Is the only real remedy to stay off of it and keeping it elevated for days or a week?
Welcome to the club brother.

Gave myself tennis elbow working a comealong, didn’t really think I was overdoing it, but I did break one of the two I was using that day.

Took nine months to heal and half way through healing, I got it on the other elbow trying to move the same stump with a bigger comealong.

I did get it moved, but felt nothing until a week later with each arm.

I know but this is a stupid injury. I have to move my driver's seat back. That will help a lot. As I've said it seems the most damage I've done to *any* part of my body in the last few yeara was while I was sleeping. It's hard to find that sweet spot where it's not bothering me. I flip and flop so much anyway. Which also ptevents me from using the cpap machine. I have a devious work aroumd for that also. But am too lazy to make it happen.
