Most tool shops in my day owned Cherring Heads, Sadly CNC made them obsolete. Along with the K&T Rotary Head mill... Here's some pictures of my Bridgeport Cherrying Head that I still find need for...

I have been looking to replace the spindle switch for 30 years that I've owned this K&T Mill. The old one was difficult operating. While I have seem many such mills replaced with modern updated switch. Like with my antique cars I strive to keep them original.. The original switch was a on-off-on with a slight pause in the off position. And has a .75 dia mounting hole. Makes you allow the spindle to slow before changing directions.

The OEM used a double pole double throw and utilizes only one pole. The NOS one actually has three poles...
