I live 42 miles from the S gate of Yosemite and they are supposed to get 18" of snow last night and today but here in the central valley we at 47 for a low and 61 for a high today

The hi temp yesterday was 31°F since then it has been dropping at about 1.5°F per hour and still going down. Last I looked it was at -2.4 and still dropping. Friday we had 14 inches of very wet heavy snow, all of that is now as hard as concrete.

My pigeons are having breakfast at 19 below presently.

Not cold here, just around 20F but two days of 30-60 mph winds and lake effect snow. Zero visibility a lot of the time when the snow band is on us. Currently it is just south of us and dumping on Orchard Park where the football game was to be played.

I'm west of you. Up over the mountains in Maryland and we are getting that white stuff now!

It arrived here as well . Coming down good but won't last long . 41 degrees here now .

Got 8" last night, and calling for another 5-6 by Monday morning with a low of -19F, but it's warm in the shop. Mike

I woke to -14 this morning, current temp is -9. I had to throw wood on the fire once at about 4:00 am, our wood burner is in the basement so I didn't hear any crunching footsteps.

It's cold out West also, just not as cold. We are on our third day of mostly below zero, -3° this morning.
