is this piece worth saving?

As an individual who doesn't sell much, I hate selling on ebay. But on ebay you get probably the largest exposure without much effort. I only sell on ebay as a last resort. I usually try to sell locally first through CL or OfferUp, then on forums. When there's no interest there, I'll list on ebay as Buy It Now & forget about it.

Buy It Now listings get posted for 30 days, then when they expire they automatically renew. Post once & no need to do anything else. For example I had 3 chuck keys that I couldn't sell. Put them on ebay & the last one finally sold yesterday. Took a few months but it was effortless. On CL I'd have to keep renewing ads every week.
 
But if you do list it on eBay and happen to sell it off-eBay, the FIRST thing that you do is to go to eBay and cancel/close the ad. The one thing that you do NOT want to have happen is to sell it off eBay and leave it listed on eBay. If you do, Murphy will cause it to sell on eBay within a week and then you will be in deep you-know-what.
