Is this dial indicator up to tramming the mill head and squaring the vise

Ied go with a dial indicator to “tram”your mill ,not a dial test indicator
 
I have a Shars DTI and have been happy so far. like what was said you aren't really measuring just comparing.
 
I went cheap on the dti when I bought a bench mill. I've ordered a few things off eBay from the anytimetools seller. It's similar to shars quality. But they have a decent quill vise dti holder knock off that seems to be better than the average ebay Chinese holder. It's good enough to tram a vise in for sure. The quill holder goes for $35 and I think the combo with a .005 dti is $54 or so shipped. I like the holder so far, doesn't disturb the tool in use thats in a collet, chuck or etc

I have the 4 piece wiggle/edge finder/hole finder set also and a vernier caliber. Seems to work fine compared to my old name brand measuring devices.

I like all industrial tools too, good selection.
