Is Parallel Width Significant In A Milling Vise?

I have 3 sets and use all of them. It depends on how you are needing to mill something that will determine what type to use.
As for keeping the smaller parallels from falling over, I use a 8" zip tie.
Just barely zip it and it makes a perfect plastic spring to keep them separated against the vise jaws.
