Is it any good

We had one like it at the shop where I worked. The one we had was built in the 1950's and was still running fine in 2006 when I retired. It's now in a commercial shop run by one of the machinist I worked with. In the last 70 rears the only thing I can remember doing to it is replace a couple seals and change the gear oil. I would love to have one. A used equipment dealer I do business with has several smaller sizes. I'm going to look at one in a couple weeks. If any of them are near the machine we had at work it'll make a nice addition to the shop.

US$315 - If that were stateside, how many of us would be jumping on it?
(well not me actually I'm out of room... )

Yep grab it. I paid 1200 for my Doall ML16 saw back in 2015.

It's hard to believe that for the equivalent of $315.00 US, you don't already have that thing in your shop. Here's the same machine for sale here in California

Yup good deal. Mine is from 1940ish and still runs like a Swiss watch.

DoAll makes excellent bandsaws, that deep throat machine would be worth around $2k here.

Thanks for the answers I think I'll buy it !! what did it was that you could weld the blades
Just in case you needed further reinforcement to offset any buyer's remorse...
From the auctions this past week, here stateside.

This one went for $1700.00
