In search of Bridgeport head for round ram base

250.00 for a head alone is pretty cheap.
Is it a step pulley or variable speed head?
It probably will need repair.

Four speed step pulley. Also, the seller said they’d take $200 for it if I picked it up (no shipping) it’s a little over 2-1/2 hours away from me.

Update! I decided against the M head due to mounting hole size, collet capacity, etc. plus, I found a much more local (14 miles) J head for $300 with only a few small parts missing!! The only issue I had was the lower two mounting holes on my round ram flange did not line up with the holes in the head. So I had to locktite threaded rod in the holes, cut off, and grind them down flush, then drill and re-tap the flange. It was a bit of a process, but I got it done. So glad I waited.

I have a round ram with a J head but it came that way and not sure what was done to fit it on the ram.
