If You Had Tons Of Time To Study...

Does Tom know? Being such a recent publication I wouldn't expect it to be. I found the other version (Metalworking: Sink or Swim). Thanks for the tip!
I forget what book was free online, sink or Swim or Doing it Better.

The publisher has it on Google Books, industreal press I believe.

I've been riding a desk for the past 26 years. I have about 2 hrs' work per day, if I stretch it out. I manage a business, and if your good, you don't micro-manage, just train, delegate and monitor your people.

I spend most of my days watching a few websites and self training in some drawing programs. I figure that I might as well learn something. When I go home, I'm in the shop working on something.

It's my understanding that there are a few of us around.

Actually Josh Groban has the same birthday, same year. He's kind of the benchmark for asking myself, "What have I done with my life?" ;)

Best source for understanding order of operations? That's one area where I have a ton to learn. I have experience I can draw on from sheet metal work, as well as other areas where I've worked, but nothing specific to machining.
