Identify this mill

Can't really add much of substance other than that the English on the tags suggests a translation. "Innest position on halted machine" is not how a North American or British machine tag would read.

I think you're right. Another thing pointing to a non- usa or uk manufacturer is the motor.
It looks original. After cleaning off some grime I have found it to be Italian.

I have been going through all Italian makes in the lathes.co.uk list, but no match so far.

My guess now is that some Italian company made this "anonymous" machine for import companys (like Groenewegen) so they could market them under their own name.
 
Facinating! Power transfer to the head is unlike any I have seen. I aint seen much, granted, but that is a unique machine in my world. Please keep us posted on your progress!
 
I found an identical machine on a South African site where it was advertised as a Adcock and Shipley milling machine..

The overarm support is missing on this one.
