I have to brag: new to me 15-127 Ram type radial drill

Rockwell bought Walker Turner and I think they rebranded one of their radial drills as a Rockwell and eventually improved the design with 6" quill travel instead of 4" and the base changed.

I believe the 15-124 was the 4" quill travel, possibly identical to a Walker-Turner, 15-126 was 6" quill travel and 15-127 was 6" quill travel with a 3 phase motor.

I would love the look of the older cast iron base but practically I think my sheet metal base is more durable and repairable.

I believe some machines were also branded Delta and maybe Delta-Rockwell but they all seem to be coming from the same place if not identical in most ways.

At least that's what I've been reading since digging deeper in to the history of the machine.

Nice looking machine. You did well on that one, and it's good to have a plan. Mike
