How to machine Cobolt

I tried milling it with a new carbide cutter and I started on one corner and within 1/8" travel the cutter was rounded over and sparks started coming off. Sounded terrible as soon as I touched it.
 
If I could shape it a little to make a cutter /boring bar, I think it would work good.
