How to get customer service at Metal Supermarkets?

I hadn't realized that Online Metals closed the Seattle location. That's unfortunate.
I've bought from Pacific Industrial Supply in South Park, but it's hit or miss if you want anything specific.

I use Chehalis Steel for remnants and steel tube. It helps to establish a relationship with local machine shops, I've bought drops directly from a little machine shop before the owner retired last year.

We have a local steel supplier here in the Philadelphia area who has great prices on new steel (structural shapes, plate, and fasteners). However, we also have a huge scrap yard that allows people to free-scavenge by the pound. Somewhat hit-or-miss, but mostly hit if you visit regularly and are willing to build inventory. If you have something like that near you, it can be a gold mine.
