How NOT to Mark Your Micrometers

While talking to a client about doing some work for his Model A, he showed me this.

We had a clown...Er...Apprentice maintenance mechanic, take his brand new Kennedy box, lay out all of his brand new tools in the drawers and spray bomb the entire inside of the drawer and tools with purple spray paint. Every drawer, every tool, about 5K worth.

He lasted about 4 months.
