Hi all-
I have a micromaster 618 that came with a separate coolant pump made in Tawain (Falcon brand?). I finally got around to filling it with coolant and tried it out. However, it has 2 different on/off switches in it that leaves me confused a bit.
1 is for a pump, if I have this switch on coolant works just about how I'd expect it to.
2- is for some sort of air-fan. I ended up wiring it in 'both' directions (by switching one of the 2 power wires, the whole block is 3 ph). However, no matter what happens, if I have this on the coolant flow stops. After reversing the wiring, I noticed that it started sucking the coolant out of the drain hose low spot. My tank has a filler hole type thing that isn't sealed, so presumably it can't create full suction.
Am I supposed to be running both at once? Do I have something wired wrong? Am I just supposed to use that pump after the fact to clear out the lines or something?
Any ideas?
