Hole Sizes for Carbide Inserts?

Or buy new holders….
Thanks for that info, I'll look into the lead.
One issue about new holders is the length of them. They are short ( I think 70mm ) and fit in a tool turret. They would need to be shortened to fit in the turret. Most of the holders look to be 100mm, that is a lot of grinding!

You have been asking the wrong question.
You should have asked "what inserts fit these holders".
In order to answer that question you need to be able to comprehensively describe the holder. A part number from the holder is a great start, except answering the question may still require considerable research because companies go out of business and holders are superseded by newer models (with different part numbers).

For the holders that have part numbers, my suggestion is to call someplace like Carbide Depot. They may well be able to recognize obsolete part numbers and reply with the correct insert type.

If you don't have holder part numbers, you will need to know the shape, size, clamping method and positive or negative rake, at least.

Asking for inserts with 3 mm screw holes is like shopping for shoes only specifying you want black color.

Like I first mentioned, I'll a total newbie.
I did say in an earlier post that I have the tool numbers and the original supplied inserts.
Both the right and left turning tools took DCGT 09 0202 inserts.
So will all DCGT 09 0202 inserts be the same size, hole size, etc?

I can't verify DCGT 09 0202 as a correct insert designation.
DCGT is fine. "09" may be the ISO indication of 9 mm inscribed circle (size). The first "02" may be the ISO indication that the insert is .094" thick.
The chart I'm using to try and decipher the part number doesn't tell me what the second "02" indicates. It may be .008" radius.
The bottom line is that I don't think DCGT 09 0202 is a correct (and complete) insert part number.

If you familiarize yourself with the linked "Insert Designation Chart" you should be able to define what type of insert(s) you need.

There are numerous DCGT available.
