Just so you guys know i think i may have figured out the problem. my brother straightened the lead screw for me while i was at work, it seems a lot better than it was. but now the problem is coming and going a bit, i was thinking it was my tooling not being sharp enough. but then i noticed that the drive belts are slipping a bit. i first noticed it when i had it cranked up to polish something at a high speed, i shut it down and went to restart it, it did not like that. now i have problems with it losing power under load, i never noticed it before. so a bad belt might be the cause of all of my problems... will let you know what i figure out.
