Help removing K. O. Lee S718HG surface grinder wheel adapter.

The od of the puller is not a standard size. Measure across the top of the threads is .977. The threads per inch is 16.
Sounds like there were several sizes and pitches, mine was .974 over the threads and 14TPI, it is made by Sopko, I'd double check the thread pitch, the thread length is pretty short, only about 3/16", so not easy to see on the gage, I just had a second look, and it is indeed 16TPI as you say, I stand corrected, but apparently there is some tolerance on the thread size, and I do not have a thread mike for that size/pitch and my fingers are too fumbley for wires.

I know that the Boyar-Schultz puller is not a K.O. Lee one and has a major diameter of .997”. Perhaps the K.O.Lee puller is actually M25 -1.25? Can you get @Madhatten a pitch diameter or possibly a measurement across the thread roots with a caliper so that they have some kind of reference dimension to go to. Other than that, they would have to remove the fabricated part from the lathe to check the fit Unless they have another wheel hub. Don’t know how good they are at picking up a thread.

The puller I measured is what I use on a copy of a brown and sharpe grinder. It is a run of the mill common puller. Grinders may be different. It will at least give you a starting place.
