Have you ever seen a 1-7/16 x 8 thread??

... the other is 60mm x 8TPI. Apparently there is not a course enough metric standard thread for a spindle ...

Any chance that what you got is a 3mm pitch? Thats fairly close to 8TPI.

Nope I've cut plugs and spindle protectors which are a perfect fit.



well the lil one in front is 1 1/2 X 8 from the 9x20.

Funny thing is the manual sent from jet had it hand written as a 66mm x 8tpi but taint so 60mmx8tpi

Interesting to see the hand written note there. "was changed to 2 1/4 x 8" isnt close to 60 or even 66mm.
Is there more to see after the "we dont have chucks & your not" part?
