Harbor Freight milling machine drum switch wiring

I hope I posted enough info for you to put yours back together. That was my intention. My mill works perfectly since the switch was put back together. Ya, I did put a lot of work into it, I kinda took a long route, but once I got the info in post #22, I then figured out how to rewire the original switch.
If you just want to take the easy route, wire it as in post #22.

Well, got my jumpers made and installed. I'll hook it up tomorrow and post results ! Huge thanks !

Well... some success. I can either get it to go clockwise in both switch positions or counterclockwise in both switch positions ... I've tried flipping the wires to the switch but no change. My wire colors in the back are different than yours.

I missed your responses in my email, or didn't get them ;-/ I'm busy right now, I'll think about this and get back to you.

Hi Brady- you're running this on 110/120 volts right? I'm not sure your switch is the same as Qs
Having the two blue wires makes it difficult to figure out
I might have some info on this- I'll take a look

I am running it 110v. One of the blue wires has a sleeve with green lines on it and one has orange. Check out the pic I posted above

OK I see- that means that the two with orange are the start wires and the two with green are the run/main wires
That helps some, but we're kind of guessing on the switch innards
I still suspect the switches may not match- they come in different flavors

Here's a sketch I did for another member who also had a blue switch
For your mill the two orange sleeve wires would go to Z1 & Z2 and the two green sleeve wires to U & V
The truth table and wiring are combined on one page. 10 jumper wires total.
The Xs show a connection, for example in Forward 1 & 2 are connected. In Reverse 3 & 4 are connected and so on.
If your switch is the same it should work for you:

Awesome! I'll give that a try today !!! Thanks !!

Yep. I've seen it before. Not very clear how the red jumpers are wired.

Here are the wires viewed from above, and below. Above showing the associated motor wires, the bottom showing the cord black and white.
Although, I'm having issues getting the machine to actually start.

Im struggling with my 33686, could you take the motor plate off, and take photos of the capacitor connections? My ceramic terminal is broken.
