"Gummy" metal while cutting

I only have cutting oil, no coolant or anything like that at all
For this type of work, I keep some cheap Kool-Mist mixed with DI water in a dropper bottle. Not messy and works well.

Just looked up kool mist and it's $50 a gallon. That's a lot of money.

Does it just hook up to an air compressor? How does that work?

I think it's $35 for a gallon of concentrate from amazon, which will make 10 gallons of mix, so it's $3.50 a gallon as used. Most people set it up with a mister. I just dilute it 10:1 as 10x[water] : 1x[Kool Mist] and squirt it into the work with a squeeze bottle as if I were using an oil can. I use it for all of my aluminum work, and use it on steel when I don't want to deal with oil-- jobs that spray such as facing are a lot easier to clean up with water-based cutting fluid.
